State Rep. Dovilla to Meet with Strongsville Business Owners

Session Sept. 1 will address issues that impact companies' ability to flourish

State Rep. Mike Dovilla, R-18, will host a Business Roundtable Discussion at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 1 at Old Town Hall, 18825 Royalton Rd.

Dovilla said he wants input from company owners on business-friendly legislation and policies.

"I need your insight into what is important to you and your business," he said in an invitation to Strongsville businesspeople. "I also need to know specifically what state laws or regulations you believe should reasonably be changed to create a business friendly environment for you to operate in."

3. Take your input back to Columbus as the legislature considers changes to state laws and regulations that will make Ohio a more business friendly state.

Strongsville Economic Development Director Brent Painter said Strongsville businesses were initially invited to a meeting in Broadview Heights with two state representatives and four cities, but he and Dovilla opted for a local session.
