The union rally is one reason Strongsville safety officials canceled a community forum on the ongoing teachers strike set for 5:30 p.m. at the nearby Ehrnfelt Recreation Center.
Safety Director Charles Goss said officials were concerned about the number of people and cars in one area and whether the events would merge.
