Parent Group to Have Press Conference on Teachers Strike

Strongsville Community Action Committee says it knows of at least 60 teachers who want to cross the picket lines

 

A resident group that says it knows of five dozen Strongsville teachers who want to cross the picket lines and return to the classroom is having a press conference at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The Strongsville Community Action Committee, on its Facebook page, says it will "release some information regarding the current strike." It also says "You do NOT want to miss what we have uncovered."

The group is also responsible for the website StrikeFacts.com.

Organizer Erica Leslie, speaking at Strongsville School Board meeting April 18, said she was in contact with 57 teachers who want to return to work but are afraid of repercussions.

The number has more recently been reported at 61 teachers.
