The 22nd Annual B'laster Chili Open Golf Classic is set for Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.
The all-volunteer event has become a February tradition in northeast Ohio, drawing nearly 1,000 golfers who tee off into blasts of frigid air, putt across frosty greens and warm up in a hall full of hot food and sizzling activities, like the celebrity auction.
The event, which runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., includes:
- Celebrity auction
- Hourly raffles - this year try for a dugout loge for 10 at an Indians game
- All the great food you can eat, including Wendy's chili
- Contests, games and prizes
With the support of area businesses like title sponsor B'laster Chemical the Chili Open Golf Classic, organized by the Rotary Club of Strongsville, has raised more than $2 million for charity since 1992.
Tickets are $35 per golfer till Feb. 14, then will be $40. Use your credit card to register online. Your tickets will be held at the door. Please bring your credit card receipt with you to the event as proof of payment.
