Ready, Set, Start Your Toboggans

Metroparks will host races down the icy chutes March 2

Are you the fastest on the toboggan chutes? Find out Friday, March 2 when the Cleveland Metroparks hosts Race Day at the Chalet.

Winners will receive 2012-13 season tobogganing passes.

Racers must register at March 2 between 6 and 10 p.m. There can be no more than four people per toboggan, and teams will only get one chance to race.

After the teams register, they'll be handed a slip of paper with their names on it and a place for their official time.

Chalet staff will start a stopwatch when the toboggan is released and will stop it for the official time at the finish line tape - just prior to the rubber stop mates.
