Register Now to Race for the Cure

SouthPark Mall is a registration site for September event

You can register now for an annual run to fight breast cancer.

The Northeast Ohio Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will hold its 19th Cleveland Race for the Cure on Saturday, Sept. 15. The event will be held in Downtown Cleveland at the Wolstein Center.

Up to 75 percent of the funds raised at the Race for the Cure stay in Northeast Ohio to help those most in need in the community.

In 2012, Komen Northeast Ohio granted $1.1 million to 17 local organizations. Nearly 25,000 underserved and/or underinsured individuals in Northeast Ohio will receive important breast health information, a free mammogram or support services.

Register for the Cleveland Race for the Cure at www.komenneohio.org through Sept. 10.

In-person registration and packet pick-up sites:

Tuesday, Sept. 11 – Legacy Village, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 12 – 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 13 – Great Northern Mall 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 14 – Tower City Center, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
